When it rains
It was a cloudy morning to begin with, which turned more grey as afternoon approached. Weather seemed to be very nice when looked at from the comforts of home, but it was harsh outside. Although there was no skin burning sunshine or nose-reddening snow, it was hot and humid, which was a deceiving combo for the human body. The heat meant dehydrating sweat running down the whole body while the humid made it look enjoyable. Keeping the body physically engaged was the only way to be resilient to the lazy weather. But, with each step, it became harder and harder to stay upright and active due to the scorching heat and the drenching humidity. Food became heavy to eat and water could no longer quench the thirst. Muscles became weary and mind became dumb. Afternoon brought rain which eliminated any hope of playing cricket, which could have lifted the sleepy spirits. All in all, an unpleasant day, with gruesome weather effects on the body making life quite unproductive.
